I cannot say enough wonderful things about this salon and the staff.

Both my husband and I have Stacy as our stylist.  He tried the salon first (while I was still traveling to an overpriced Salon that I wasn't very pleased with) and came home with the best style he had ever gotten.  Finally after a few months he convinced me to give the salon, and Stacy, a try.

I have really long/thick hair and am rather picky about the style (long/blunt layers) and was thrilled with the results!  And the price was only $45 (compared to the nearly $80 I paid at my last salon) to boot!

Now... don't let the plain outside scare you off.  It is a simple and modern salon inside with a talented and warm staff.  My husband and I recommend them to everybody... he even said if we moved far away he would always find a reason to travel back here for a haircut.

I am so glad that I found this salon!

After my old hairstylist suddenly quit her job, I was lost with a hair full of problems!  After passing by Leonardo's a few times, I decided to go in.  Jessica was behind the desk and instantly told me what she was willing to do with my hair, due to previous damage.  I knew she had my best interest at heart.

After a few visits, I decided to drastically change my hair style.  Jessica talked me out of a few things, which, in retrospect, I'm glad she did.  After I realized I wanted my old hair color and style back, she has been slowly helping me towards that goal.  She refused to throw more chemicals on my head that would only hurt my hair in the end.

A few more visits, and I should be good as new!

Helpful stylists, great service

I have been going to Leonardo's for years upon years on and off. I have gotten a lot of cuts there and a couple of eye brow waxes. I just went today and got a great cut by Alison. She gave me so many helpful little tricks to style my hair. I have never really known what I want from my hair; I go into a salon hoping the stylist will tell me what would look good and why. I have gone there in the past with my timid request of "just an inch off and straightened, please," and they have done just that, which I have always appreciated. Today I knew I wanted something new, but i had no idea what. Alison worked with my ideas and gave me further suggestions based on my face shape, hair temperment and fall. She was great. The other stylists I have had there were good too I just can't remember their names :-/ They take their time on each client.
I have also gotten a lot of nice thank yous and gifts from them in the mail.
I have always been able to make appts on short notice (ex. today just 45mins in advance).
My only bad experiences with them have been eye brow waxing.... and lip waxing. They just didn't do well, simple as that. And they have gotten a little expensive over the years, my used-to-be $27 haircut was about $45 today. If you want a great haircut, however, it's the perfect place.

Love this salon!

After going to the same hairdresser for over 20 years, he up and retired without giving any of his customers notice so I was lost.  I tried one of the girls that use to work for him, but it wasn't the same.  Finally I walked into Leonardo's, I didn't have an appointment but Stacy couldn't have been nicer, she took me right away and cut my hair just the way I like it.  Went again today and again the service was outstanding.  Thanks again Stacy...

The ladies at the salon all seemed very friendly and helpful.

My friends and I were headed to a Winter Gala on Saturday night and were looking for a place to get our hair styled. We were able to get appointments for Saturday afternoon easily.

When we got to the salon we were greeted and seated very quickly and there were people already there being helped. The ladies at the salon all seemed very friendly and helpful. The salon is clean and cute.

Sarah styled my hair. She did a good job. I wasn't crazy impressed with the styling but I wasn't disappointed either. Styling for a special occasion can be a little difficult when it comes to my thin and lifeless hair and I kinda felt the $70 for the style was pricey.

I observed as they cut and colored other customers and I really liked their work. I am looking for a salon in the Quincy area so this place may get my service again real soon.

Had one of the best salon experiences I've ever had in my entire life!

On Friday, April 8th, 2011, I went to Leonardo's Salon and Spa and had one of the best salon experiences I've ever had in my entire life with their stylist Jessica!!! I'm going to share my experience with all of you Yelpers!

Prior to my appointment on the 8th, I had contacted the owner Micki with a specific color request.  She responded very promptly and told me accomodating me wouldn't be a problem. I had noticed on their website that their stylist Jessica specialized in "Shock and Rock" hairstyles/color.  I was hooked!  I called the salon to set up a consultation with Jessica and she was able to see me on a Friday night before they closed.  My partner and I were greeted when we walked in and I sat down and began talking with Jessica.   My request was unique and truly of "Shock and Rock" Calibur:  Blonde Hair with Black Tips.  She was friendly and answered my questions. Jessica also gave me an idea of how long it would take and the cost.  It was all made very clear. I really appreciated this!

The appointment was made for exactly one week later and I arrived early and I barely had to wait any time at all before Jessica was ready to take me. I was early too and she thanked me for being early!  If there is one thing I can tell you about Jessica, it's that when it comes to being a stylist and colorist she is the real deal.  You can tell she has quite a bit of training and she's confident with her execution.  Jessica answered all my questions during each color process.  Towards the end of the color process, Jessica took extra precautions to make sure the black tips didn't bleed into the blond so the color would really pop.   The color products they use are excellent.  My scalp didn't burn and I had some fairly potent color applications going on for quite a while!  The shampoos (all 3 of them) were excellent too! =)

The color came out AWESOME!  Then after that was just trimming around the edges and trimming the back of my head.  I had previously gone to a salon that had given the back of my head a more conservative square-cut looking shave in the back and I told her I definitely wanted that fixed.  Jessica checked with me twice to make sure I was happy with the way the back of my head was shaved. She also recommended a fabulous shampoo for colored hair that smelled like pomegranate, fabulous!

All in all it was a 3 hour appointment and it was some of the best 3 hours of my life!  I love salon day!  While I'm on the subject of salon, everyone who works there was very nice and they care very much about the salon.  Constantly cleaning the stations and the salon itself, the place is spotless and very nicely decorated.  It's a great size for a salon in Quincy!

In closing, I highly recommend this salon and wanted to share my experience with everyone.  I definitely see myself being a repeat customer for many more years to come!!!
